Dr. Daniele Trevisani, Fulbright Scholar, has 24 years of direct experience as Martial Arts and Kickboxing fighter, coach and Master of several teams across different disciplines, both in Italy and the USA. Building on a strong personal and theoretical background, he developed a new training system -  Dao Shi Total Fighting System® - a Martial and Fighting System based on scientific Human Potential Research, blended with ancient martial arts concepts, generating an innovative discipline. The concepts of Dr. Daniele Trevisani are used both in athletic training and in management training.

Objectives and Values

ü    To develop the access to Personal Potential and Human Potential through Martial Arts and Fighting System obtaining a holistic improvement on several levels: physical, psychological, motivational, self-empowerment, new goal setting, retargeting mental energy and building a personal growth plan within a positive group environment.

ü To build Instructors and Masters with high level of expertise and knowledge of Human Performance on the physical and psychological level, strong value-systems, and train-the-trainers skills

A modern system of Personal Growth, Human Potential and Leadership, rooted in ancient values

 The DaoShi®  Total Fighting System ® pays attention to the different levels of personal growth: the first is the bio-energetic stage, the "battery" for any mental and physical activity (physical energy); we also kee in high consideration the psycho-energetic level of training (mental energies and motivation), micro-skills, macro-skills, values reinforcement and planning skills. The system combines various martial disciplines and fighting sports, fitness approaches, technical and psychological training, also used at the level of top management and leadership outdoor training. The method has applications in martial arts, individual coaching and team sports coaching, and outdoor management training for businesses. It incorporates techniques from many schools and martial disciplines and combines them with pedagogical and psychological disciplines. It Has strong roots in the martial arts classic principles, solid and immutable values and moral and spiritual growth patterns, such as wisdom and humility to learn.

The meaning of the DaoShi® : The Way of the Master. The significance of this discipline is rooted in the martial tradition of the Ronin (masterless Samurai, among which emerges the figure of Musashi), The Ronin is a fighter that typically lives an intense life, made of honor and values, absorbs any possible learning throughout his life path, be it technical, moral, philosophical or existential, without any foreclosure, and - reached a high point of preparation, awareness, and higher consciousness levels - transfers his knowledge to students who demonstrate learning attitude and moral values. Knowledge that transcend the mere physical act and digs into the human factor embracing a life-long learning approach.

The DaoShi®  Total Fighting System ® has a strong scientific background, being rooted both in the eastern holistic approach and in the scientific western tradition, merging principles and methods in a unique way. The scientific basis of the method are described in the book written by Dr. Daniele Trevisani: "Human Potential", published by Franco Angeli Publisher, Milan, and Change Management methods developed in the book "Change Director".
